As such, Raishin leaves with his new master while Tanjiro stays behind at their camp site. Tanjiro takes the opportunity to state that he sacrificed his humanity in order to become a demon slayer. He then uses one of his powers, which is the ability to control his blood and make it explode out of him at will. The blood sprays throughout Raishin's face, blinding him temporarily. This gives Tanjiro enough time for him to escape from the scene with Shoukei in tow. Raishin is able to get his s

ight back as he chases after Tanjiro. He quickly catches up with him, but Tanjiro uses another one of his powers which allows him to control the wind around them. This causes Raishin's sword to be pushed away from him, making it impossible for him to use it properly against Tanjiro. After the battle, Raishin and Yaya return to their camp site. They find that it has been completely destroyed by Tanjiro's blood attack. This is when they realize that Shoukei may have been kidnapped by him. However, they are unable to find any trace of either of them. The next day, Raishin meets up with Shoukei and tells her that he wants to go back home. He apologizes for having dragged her into this mess and promises that he will find a way for them to go back together. Shoukei then informs him that she saw what happened between Tanjiro and himself last night. She says that if their master is the one who gave them their powers then they should stay with him until they learn how to use them properly. Later on, Raishin and Yaya find the scene where Tanjiro kidnapped Shoukei. They see that there are blood stains left behind by their former master and decide to follow him. They travel up a mountain together in order to catch up with Tanjiro. Raishin then goes into a state of shock after seeing the blood on his face. He starts to wonder if he's even human anymore now that he's become a demon slayer.
